What a beauty! This lovely 1960s prairie dress was a costume for Canada's centennial celebration in 1967. It has a lovely design, that features a basque waist, fitted bodice with a layered, lace trimmed detail along the princess seams that drapes over the shoulders. The skirt is very full, with gathers at the waist and a large, sweeping hem that features a gathered tier. The sleeves are 3/4 length with gathered cuffs trimmed in lace, and the neckline is also trimmed in the lace. It zips up at centre back with a metal zipper. The bonnet has a large peak and is gathered along the top, with a long tie.
